The attached shows what my desktop looks like upon launching
thunderbird/2005-06-07.  If you look real close, you will see traces of black
text which represent bits and pieces of my folder view.

Of course, when I did this for real - with a picture of my late kitty as
wallpaper -- it was really hard to see.

Not only is the background transparent, the text isn't lined up well and seems
subtly wrong - what I can read of it.
