A complete or done checkbox should be added for events.
A change should be made in the display to reflect that the event has been
completed for that day.
There should be a completed information for each instance of a recurent event.

I think this one is probably WONTFIX.  From my understanding of the distinction
Calendar is trying to make between events and tasks, events aren't 'completed',
they merely pass in time.  Tasks, on the other hand, are completed and do have
this option.  (See

Also, RFC2445 doesn't discuss completed events much at all.  Almost all of the
discussion focuses solely on completed tasks.
