297050 - download manager asks to overwrite shortcuts on save menu when attempting to follow them

When you are prompted on the location to save a file to, if a shortcut to a
folder is double clicked the download overwrites the shortcut instead of
navigating to the directory the shortcut points to.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download a file
2. Follow a shortcut in the save as window

Actual Results:  
Shortcut was not followed.
Warning of file being overwritten.

Expected Results:  
Followed the shortcut and displayed the directory the shortcut pointed to.

I think system configuration is relevant as it doesn't happen to everyone. I 
think it worked in previous versions. It does not happen in other applications
using the same style of save as dialog.
