I think it's more intuitive if the dragging from password fields is not allowed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Goto any website which has a password field and another text box. 2. Enter password and drag the text using mouse. 3. Drop the text into the other text box. Actual Results: The other text box will show "******" (no. of * is equal to the length of the text entered in password field). Expected Results: Should not allow dragging from password field.
Found another issue with Dragging & dropping text: if you drag text from one textbox to another, you cannot drag & drop the text back from the second textbox to first textbox.
(In reply to comment #1) > Found another issue with Dragging & dropping text: if you drag text from one > textbox to another, you cannot drag & drop the text back from the second textbox > to first textbox. Reproducible with Mozilla 1.8b1, Mozilla 1.8b2/20050607 and Deer Park a1, it seems that the text from the first textbox is not really deselected when you select the text in the second textbox. Maybe this should be a seperate Core bug?
