The temp files created from internet browsing do not clear when exiting session,
nor do they clear when hitting "clear cache" in the tool, or even when using
Disk Cleanup utility from Microsoft. I had 20 sub-directories with over 1500
items in each. Please advise. I love FireFox and plan to continue to use it -
but I must be able to correct this problem.

Thank you

Reproducible: Always
20 sub-directories ? There should be only 1 sub-directory with temp files in
your profile, called Cache. Or are you talking about all the other files that
you can find in your profile ? These are *not* temporary files, and should not
be deleted.

The files I am talking about are under "Temporary Internet Files" in the local
settings of my profile. These have always deleted in the past.

Firefox doesn't use that directory - it's used by Internet Explorer. Firefox
only uses the "Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox" and "Local Settings\Application
Data\Mozilla\Firefox" (the latter only in the latest version, Deer Park Alpha 1).

I thought so too. I cleared out all of the folders that I am talking about.
There were no files left. I continued my browsing with Firefox, and files are
being populated into those folders. I haven't used IE for quite some time.
Very confusing.

That folder is for IE, Firefox doesn't use it. If there are files populated
there anyway, then maybe another application is doing that. It's not Firefox,
that is for sure.
