I verified that what he said was correct. These temp files get created and do not delete using normal methods. I had to physically access the folders and delete manually. Please advise, as I consider Thunderbird to be MUCH superior to Outlook. His email follows my signature. Thank you Ron Caruana Hi Ron, I've noticed recently that any messages that you forward to me that include attachments are secreting themselves into sneaky temp folders on my hard drive, like a virus. Now-they are not viruses or trojans or anything, but they shouldn't be doing that- it takes up valuable disk space, plus they shouldn't be putting them into hidden folders.Usually temp folders are deleted on reboot, or when you hit the Disk Cleanup button-These files are not getting deleted. Every time one comes as well , and it is read and deleted it crashes Outlook-very bad, and has also been crashin Internet Explorer. This has only started happening recently since you've changed your e-mail client, and it doesn't happen when you attach things, only when you are forwarding things with attachments. Just so you know, I'll be deleting those forwarded ones unread. You might want to take a look at your own temp folder as well-simply go to Tools/ Folder Options/ View/ and check "show hidden files". Then go to C/Documents and Settings/ (a folder of your name-mine says Billy)/Local Settings/Temp and check out if you have stuff there. Just thought you'd like to know. Billy Reproducible: Always

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it.
