The RSS feed options does not work for any of the sites that I have tried.   The
CNN is the one that is a great model for all of them.

Before accessing RSS connection

This is the screen before clicking on the RSS feed.
This is the screen after clicking on the RSS feed.
I believe that is the expected behaviour, If you want the feed to look pretty
you can use the feedview extension.

The RSS feed is being established however it is simply displayed as a XML tree. 

As stated this bug is WFM.
Open Bookmarks manager
select: File -> New Live Bookmark
paste the feed url in the feed location field and close it
Close bookmarks manager and go to the live bookmark you just created....
Status: UNCONFIRMED → RESOLVED

Resolution: --- → INVALID
Status: RESOLVED → VERIFIED
