When using an Automatic Configuration script for Proxy access -- when initially
starting the Browser and attempting to go to any url e.g. yahoo.com -- basically
the proxy dialog is not initiated as it is in I.e. On the other hand if one
enters an ip for a proxy server then the dialog comes up as it should.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Leave Browser
2.Start Browser with default to yahoo.com or any other site needing to go
through the proxy
3.
Actual Results:
get error message
Expected Results:
proxy dialog should appear asking for id and password.

Could be related to (or a duplicate of) several bugs: Core bug 272044, Core bug
100022, Core bug 90308 and/or Firefox bug 251301?
Yes these do sound somewhat similar, however we only use a URL for our PAC
file as it changes frequently, thus being able to go to a local file will not
provide a solution --
This is a basic requirement for any Browser and clearly needs to be fixed for
Mosilla if it is to be taken seriously.
