spun off from bug 293737 comment 6.
in Camino (current trunk) and Safari (2.0), when there are no windows present
and you issue the Open Location or Web Search commands, a new blank browser
window appears with the caret (and thus focus) in the respective field.
this bug is to suggest the same behavior for Firefox on Mac OS X --see the
somewhat confusing results in bug 293737 comment 5.

As i mentioned in bug 293737 comment 7, opening the homepage on Command+L wasn't
my plan... (i shoud have changed my homepage not to be about:blank!... :) )
