User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 When clicking on javascript:addEngine() links from mycroft, I receive the "Add the following..." dialog box. But when I select Ok, nothing is added to the search engines. Javascript is enabled in prefs. So is software installation from mycroft.mozdev.org. Same problem for 'gif' and 'png' icon types. This problem occurs in Fifrefox 1.03 and 1.04. (I first noticed it before 1.04 was released, but the upgraded did not fix the problem). The same search engines can be added using Fifrefox 1.03/1.04 on Windows XP in the same network, so it's not a problem with those search engines. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit a mycroft.mozdev.org page with search addons 2. Click on any javascript:addEngine(...) link 3. When a dialog asks to add the search plugin, select "Ok" Note that selected search plugin was not added 4. Quit Fifrefox (Firefox | Quit from menu) 5. Restart Firefox Again note that plugin was not added. Actual Results: Selected search plugin was not added Expected Results: Selected search plugin should have been added
