Found a prevous bug report which seems to be the same issues I'm having BUG #234074

I simply cannot use the right-click, save-image-as option with either jpegs or
gifs.  I've not tried it with pngs.  When you do try to save an image, nothing
happens.  No save dialog, no disk activity, no nothing.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right-click
2. Choose save image as
3. that's it.
Actual Results:  
Nothing.

Expected Results:  
file saved to the hard disk.

Thanks guys, looks like I found what the problem is. 

Looks like the extention Download Sort
(http://downloadstatusbar.mozdev.org/downsort/) is the one thats the problem.
When I enable it, it stops me from saving graphics for some reason. I have
removed the plugin and all is well now.
