Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511
When I try o install Mozilla Firefox in my PC (an AMD Sempron 3100+ with a
K8M800-M2 motherboard from EliteGroup, running Mandrake Linux 10.1 (download
edition)), I can only see the first 'page' of the installer. When I click on
'Next' it just crashes. Using the "root's console" it gives me:
./firefox-installer: line 56: 6900 Segmentation fault ./${BINNAME}-bin $@
This has happened with Firefox 1.0.3 and 1.0.4, and did not happen when I tried
to install it in a Pentium 4 based PC (it was the same installer file).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a "root's console"
2.Enter to the folder firefox-installer and type firefox.installer
3.Click on the 'Next' button in the installer that has already openned.
Actual Results:
The installer will close when you click 'Next', leaving the following line in
the console
./firefox-installer: line 56: 6900 Segmentation fault ./${BINNAME}-bin $@
Expected Results:
Continue with the installation process.

If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
