It seems that a few words in the beginning of a sentence are rendered backwards.

To reproduce:
1. Open http://www.ynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-3093611,00.html
2. Scroll down to the "בחדר הלידה" part

The first sentence there is rendered improperly.
I forgot to mention one more thing, my UA:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050610
Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005061021
cc'ing Asaf and Simon
This WFM on: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b2)
Gecko/20050611 Firefox/1.0+

So it's probably Windows-specific.
The bug appears for me on both Windows and Linux (with Pango enabled).
I can't seem to reproduce this; does it work now? (I'm testing on Mozilla/5.0
(Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050727 SeaMonkey/1.0a).

Eli, try refreshing the page a couple of times.

The testcase should say "ממה" instead of "הממ"
This is really weird. I can't reproduce this unless I go to Regional and
Language Options and check the "Install files for complex script and
right-to-left languages" box in the Languages tab. I would guess it has
something to do with the fonts, but I'm not certain. I'm not sure how much that
helps; I'm not really familiar with the BIDI code.
That's not weird at all. We go through a different codepath if the OS has its
own Bidi support, and what you described is the OS-dependent way to turn Bidi
support on. So what you are seeing is consistent with what I said in comment 6:
the bug is limited to systems with native Bidi support.
This WORKSFORME in today's build. I assume it was fixed by bug 299065.
