Will not display websafe colors in 256 colors when changed in display properties
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open http://www.websitetips.com/designer/hex.html in firefox and internet
explorer.
2.Start, Settinigs, Control panel, Display, Settings, Change to 256 colors
3. See difference between two browsers. Firefox is not displaying Websafe
colors properly.
Actual Results:
Firefox is not displaying Websafe colors properly while other browsers do.
Expected Results:
Firefox should be able to display web safe colors in 256 color mode.
This is the same problem in Windows 2000.
The other browser I have tested this against is Opera under Windows 2000
Firefox should be able to display web safe colors in 256 color mode.
The problem shows up so far on Windows ME and Windows 2000
There is no problem with Firefox on my MAC.

This is not a problem in 16 bit colors but is a problem in 256 colors as stated
