When the page is requested the spinner in the upper right freezes and Firefox
stops responding.  Buttons can be depressed (ie. back, refresh, home, etc.), but
they do not perform their action.  The Mozilla Quality Feedback Agent sends an
incident report and windows asks to send an error report.  Once these are
complete Firefox is closed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter URL into address bar
2. Click Go


Actual Results:  
Nothing or a very small amount of broken page is rendered
Firefox crashes and the Quality Feedback Agent sends an incident report
Windows asks me to send an error report

Expected Results:  
Page should render and not crash Firefox

FF1.0.4 is too old to report Gecko bugs. Please retest the next time with a
current trunk build.

Thank you.  Tested with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US;
rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050610 Firefox/1.0+ and the page appears to work.

I believe it should be noted though that
http://www.howstuffworks.com/camera6.htm  (from bug 228557) does not crash
either this version or the first posted version of Firefox.
