Reporter, you have to give much more information to try and identify the problem. Are you using any plugin/extension that handles bookmarks? Are bookmarks the only thing that returns to default every few days, or are there any any other browser features (history, home page, any other configuration) affected?
i dont know how to get more info, i dont know if theres any plugins that change bookmarks. the bookmarks disappear and the customization on the toolbar go back to default.

Open Tools > Extensions and see in the descriptions if there's anything regarding bookmarks and let us know. Also, open your bookmarks (View > Sidebar > Bookmarks) and history (View > Sidebar > History) to see if your missing bookmarks are there and see if there's any history prior of the last time your information was set back to the default. Are you using a public computer, are you using a computer at work and connected to a network? Anyway, a simple workaround for this is opening Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks and exporting the bookmarks you currently have into a file. Then when this happens you can import this file and have them back.
no extensions regarding bookmarks, missing bookmarks arent there and it also resets the toolbar to defaults, i shouldnt have to save my bookmarks and do this everytime it does this, you guys should fix this bug on the browser. it also resets the toolbar preferences so i would have to redo that everytime too if it decides to reset itself. and this is my own computer, no one else uses it. its a home computer.

Yes, this should be fixed. That's why we need as much information as possible. Do you have any kind of filtering, antispyware or antivirus software that may delete files from your computer? My guess is that the folder in which your Firefox profile is stored is being deleted by some other program.
