User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050613 Firefox/1.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050613 Firefox/1.0+ When I right clicked on on the bookmarks on my links bar, to open it in a new tab, the drop down menu showed, but on clicking to open in a new tab, nothing happened. I was in the middle of moving around bookmarks using the Bookmarks manager at the same time as well. I also have the Tab Browsing Preffs extension. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Deer Park Alpha 2.Have Tab Browser Prefs extension installed 3.Open Bookmarks Manager 4.Right click on bookmarks listed on the links toolbar and try to open in new tab Actual Results: Nothing happened at all. Nothing loaded in a new tab. No new tab was created. If I single clicked, it would open in the current tab. Expected Results: A new tab should be created with the page loading on it in the background re: Tab Browsing Prefs extension settings. Latest Nightly 2005-06-13-06-trunk. WinXP Pro SP2. Tab Browser Preffs 1.2.6.
This is what was the dialogue window brought up when trying to create a new folder in the bookmarks manager
I have discovered that this is a problem which is part of the bookmark manager as a whole. I have been working on organising my bookmarks using the bookmark manager and have found other errors. For example: Clicking "New folder" button, it brings up a malformed dialogue window (See attached screenshot). I suspect there will be further errors in the bookmark manager as a whole. Will report further errors as I discover them
Summary: Opening bookmarks from links bar in new tab failure → Bookmark manager probelms
WFM with Deer Park a1 without Tab Browser Prefs installed. Maybe a bug in the Tab Browser Prefs extension?

Do the problems occur in safe-mode? (ie without TBP enabled)

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
