User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Junk Mails that were automatically marked and moved to the junk folder seem to loose their junk-status in the junk folder without any special reason. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create an IMAP account, activate auto-junk-mark-and-move 2. Get mails and junk mails... 3. have a look at the junk folder after a few days... 4. in junk folder there are mails marked as not junk without being marked so by hand. Actual Results: junk-status being lost Expected Results: junk-status being held i don't really know whether the unflagged junk-mails are deleted after the given period of time then... it just SEEMS to me that they are ignored by auto-delete then, too.

Like zug said, this appears to be fixed in the lastest trunks? Download one and try it? http://stage.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/latest-trunk/

This is still happening for me with 1.5.0.5 on Linux. It is not a duplicate of 261297 as that refers to IMAP and I am using SMTP/POP.
