When opening the extension manager with the new widget being used from bug 285584 the last seleccted item is not visible... it is actually off by one. To test this you will need to select the first item in the EM list (see bug 298140), close the EM, reopen the EM. So far using a setTimeout to set selecctedItem in the startup routine had the best results in fixing this bug but is not a good fix.
