Details
Thunderbird only handles vCard content sent with Content-Type: text/x-vcard. It should also handle vCard data sent with Content-Type: text/directory; profile=vCard, which is the MIME type specified for vCards in RFC 2425. Starting with Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger), vCards sent from the Mac OS's built-in Address Book application through the built-in Mail application use text/directory, so this is causing a minor interoperability problem with cards sent from those applications to Thunderbird users. See also Mozilla application suite bug 60936.
