User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1 In previous versions of Firefox I could enter umlauts (öüä) or other non-basic characters with a US keyboard (and US keyboard layout) using a two-step process: 1. press alt-someletter, 2. press some other letter. With Alt-u for instance the dots of the umlaut would appear, which would be combined to the a-umlaut when pressing a afterwards. Doesn't work any longer. Pressing Alt-u has no result whatsoever. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. press alt-u 2. press a Actual Results: an a-umlaut should appear Expected Results: nothing appears
