It's possible for context menus to lose their functionality. Example:

Open up the bookmarks folder, and right-click on a bookmark to bring up its
context menu. Then move your mouse over to the go menu: the go menu will overlap
the context menu generated by your right click. You can click out of the go menu
now, and the context menu will still be dead. If you click outside of it, it
will not close. If you click on an item, the item will not perform its action,
but only close the menu.
