If, when the clipboard is empty, we ctrl+v in a text box (in a webpage, for
example, of a search engine, in the Location Bar, Search Engine Bar....),
Firefox tries to NS_Alloc(0), and we get an assertion.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Empty your Clipboard
2. Go to any Search Engine and try to ctrl+v 
   -OR-
   ctrl+v in the Location Bar

you can right click and choose paste instead of ctrl+v

Actual Results:  
Firefox tries to NS_Alloc(0), which is illegal.

Expected Results:  
Firefox should handle this case, and not call NS_Alloc(0)
