I do not care about all of your procedures and dictums. FireFox is frozen on my
computer and I am now spending part of my morning debugging your software when
I can generate enough of my own.

WHEN I booted up this morning, something about Media connectivity fired off and
pretty much installed itself. Before I could stop it Firefox would load but
would not establish connections with a home page. Nor could i open the Tools
menu. I finally took FireFox out of the system and re-installed it. Even tried
a reboot.

Right now FireFox is frozen up and is useless on my system. I've enjoyed using
it but I'm now back to IE. Its the only way I can work and this has put me way
behind.

Incidentally, I went to all the trouble to register for buggerme zilla and that
did not work either.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. see above
2.
3.

Actual Results:
FF frozen -- will not work

Expected Results:
Worked
This is probably caused by a bad extension. Extensions are not uninstalled
because they are in your profile folder which is not uninstalled on
reinstallation. Try this in safe-mode and see if you can reproduce it.

Sounds like spyware. Try using Spybot S&D, MS Anti-spyware, ad-aware..ect

With great sadness, I have to report the same. Since version 1.0.4, Firefox
hangs / hard-freezes my computer totally while simply trying to browse the
internet. And , yes, I have Spybot installed and use it daily, but as to
Firefox, to no avail. I've updated to 1.0.6, and Firefox deepfroze the system
after 5 min. already! Me too was forced to remove Firefox from my system and
use Interbat Exloiter again :-(((. My neigbor (also a computernerd and lover
of Firefox) experienced exactly the same problem, he even got blue screens on
XP, without doing any browsing at all! I really hope this can be fixed.
