User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4

These items installed correctly per my installer log:
http://216.55.161.203/theonekea/tabprefs/tabprefs_1.2.7.1.xpi
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/themes/whitehart/whitehart-0.1.4-fx.jar

and I got error msgs titled "Malformed File" which said:
Firefox could not install this item because "insert name listed below" (provided
by the item) is malformed. Please contact the author about this problem.
where "insert name listed below" =
install-w7l.rdf (while installing Nautipolis 1.0.9)
install-8l.rdf (while installing Saferfox Xpanded 2.3.1 3.1.0)
install-n4y.rdf (while installing Littlefox 1.0.9)

I have copied the screen output on each installation failure & have it available
should anyone want to see it.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Expected Results:
Installed the updates.

(Does it have anything to do with the fact one cannot install multiple themes at
once in 1.0 - bug 257992? The error looks similar.)
This happened to me also when I first started Firefox 1.5b1. It first searched
for updated extentions and disabled most of mine. It found 2 that would work
with the new install, Nautipolis and Littlefox. After they where updated, I
started getting the error. Mine appeared to install but gets this error:

Malformed File
Firefox could not install this item because "install.rdf" (provided by the item)
is not well-formed or does not exsist. Please contact the author about this
problem.
I went back to the themes web site and manually installed Nautipolis 1.0.21 and
Littlefox 1.0.21. The error came up again before they installed. This time they
actually loaded however. After I had loaded both of them, then restarted, the
error that came up each time I started Firefox 1.5b1 disappeared.
Does this still happen with Firefox 1.5?
