Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 The autocomplete list moves to the center of the screen and won't go away. When you click on one of the choices, it disappears, but does not go to the link. Once when this happened I was not able to input text to Firefox until I clicked outside of Firefox and then came back in. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click in address bar to set text input focus there. 2. Right-click in address bar. Hold it down. 3. Start typing an address that causes the autocomplete to pop up. 4. Release right mouse button

I just wanted to add that, while clicking on one of the autocomplete choices doesn't go there, you can still use up/down to select a link and that will work and close the autocomplete list.

Unable to reproduce. Right click goes to the site

When I release the rightclick button, the rightclick menu appears (I don't see the function of rightclicking in this), but when I ignore the rightclick-menu and click an autocomplete link it does not go to the autocomplete choice. Workaround may be not to rightclick in the location bar if not necessary ?
(In reply to comment #3) > When I release the rightclick button, the rightclick menu appears (I don't see > the function of rightclicking in this) I did it accidentally. But then it acted buggy so I pointed it out. Maybe the same bug causes other small unseen problems, you know?

This is probably a dupe of bug 251887.

Yeah, it is. Strange bug, but I definitely core popup code, not Firefox specific. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 251887 ***
