Cut or copy the text in the address field copies the data as formatted text.
This does not make sense and is annoying when you e.g., paste the data into a
plain text e-mail.

This bug is similar but not identical to

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Copy some text from the address field
2. Paste it into a text field that typically is plain text but also accepts
formatted text (e.g., Eudora or Firstclass message windows)
3. Notice how the message in (2) changes from being a plain text unformatted
message to a RTF/HTML or whatever the app in (2) uses for formatted text.

Actual Results:  
The text is pasted as formatted text.

Expected Results:  
Pasted the text as plain text.

I have been unable to find a dupe and don't see this bug in windows.
Could you try Deer Park Preview and see if it gives the same result ?

(it is advisable to backup your profile before you switch to Deer Park preview)

The bug is still present in FF 1.5.
