While the aggregate, and top 25, features are very useful, we are starting to
get problems that have been sorted out/fixed but still show up at the top of the
list. The ideal solution is to calculate the number of reports in the last 7
days (or a longer period, maybe even selectable on the query page?) and sort by
that. Showing the total as well, of course.
Well, I've just noticed the date options on the query page... that would do it,
so perhaps this bug should really be to make the default Top 25 query limited to
the last 7 days...
Summary: Aggregate results page should show "Number in last 7 days" → Top 25 aggregate query should only include last 7 days (or similar)
You should already be able to do this via your own query. The question is
should that tab at top do it based on last 7 days, or last 30 days.

Ok, we've decided to just show the most recent Firefox release, this is more useful in most cases. Implemented in production and dev.

I would say it is significantly less useful than "the last week" of reports. I'm definately keeping my magic bookmark for that :P
Everyone has their own pref, and that's why you can write your own queries.

The point of "Top 25" is to list the biggest issues facing Firefox NOW, is to use a release, that way there's enough data. Doing it weekly results in less data, which allows for less accuracy.

Of course there are times when this view is very helpful.
