when i open http://www.ypl.org/. initially the page loads up. but a second
later, it goes off ( looks like it gets redirected or something)

Likely fixed by recent parser fixes (that page document.writes an horribly
invalid document).

Yes, it is the latest nightly build of firefox 1.1alpha.
The final release of firefox 1.1 will be out in a month or two.
