No idea what this attachement says, it's probably in marathi.

This a compressed language pack, but we're in need of a source, the two are not equivalent. Cedric is currently developing a tool to help with the conversion, see http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.dev.l10n/browse_frm/thread/5d64c871846e5db8/ for a discussion on that, and its limitations.

While cleaning up my inbox, I came across bug 334800.

My bad, sorry for that, could you guys please take a look at the stuff you did so far and find out where there's chance to collaborate?

There seems to be an utter conflict in timing, this bug is older, the other bug has an attachement for a while.

We should really have only one bug to land this, too.

It'd be a good idea to create a wiki page for Marathi, at http://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Teams:mr-IN, following the example of Armenian, http://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Teams:hy-AM

Sorry again, I should have gotten back to Priti's bug ages ago, I'm always doing a not-so-constructive "just this one doc a tad better and then"

Axel, you have put us all in such a embarrassing situation :( 

Although I reminded you about the updates several number of times and you're getting irritated by that, Remember ?

I still wonder how two coordinators can have CVS commit access that too for same locale mr-IN ???  

In the interest of our own language "Marathi" and seeing the sincere efforts that have been put by *all* volunteers, it would be wise to put all the translations under one umbrella.

Priti, yes, I know, the situation is unfortunate.

And I do hope to actually see collaboration here, and thank you for setting up that wiki page. 

What puzzles me a bit is, you have CVS access, for roughly half a year now, but there still is nothing in cvs. Independent of what Manoj did or can do, I guess it'd be benefitial for us all and the discussion to actually land that work in cvs, on trunk (also known as HEAD, not on a branch at all). Possibly without the .src and image files in browser/searchplugins, as those aren't used anymore.

There's going to be a lot of work to be done still, I guess enough for you and Manoj, but I sincerely expect that discussion to be much more constructive if everybody has access to at least one version, and we can then look at differences between the works, and how they add up, which they hopefully would.
