My download folder is set to: X:\downloads
After this disk was removed from the system Firefox does not give me an error
message that the disk/folder no longer exists, and the download can't be
completed. Now it just doesn't do anything. An error message would be appreciated.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set download folder on a removable disk
2. remove disk
3. try to download some files. 

Actual Results:  
The download manager does not start

Expected Results:  
An error message that the folder / disk were the files should be placed does not
exist.
