i want to set TB as my default mail program. I did not get the request message
on install so I went to your web help site for guidance. Instructions say to go
to Tolls>Options. There are NO OPtions on the Tools menu on the Mac.
Now what do I do?

It seems http://www.mozilla.org/support/thunderbird/faq#themes is wrong, see
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Default_mail_client on how it can be done by changing
the preferences in Mail.app, also related to bug 255560.
