User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050629 Firefox/1.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050629 Firefox/1.0+ I was begining to reinstall DPA1 6/29/2005 2:23 PM Build, and I had accidently left a browser open. I force quit the install because I had a bug comment I had not submitted. I submitted and exited Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: Steps Vary. Just open a browser, atempt to install the browser with it open, force quit the install, close browser, atempt to re open. Actual Results: Failed to re open and displayed an error (screenshot of error box to be uploaded imediatly after posting) Expected Results: Re Open with no problems Talkback was not enabled.
I forgot to mention. I terminated it in Task Manager, and attempted to re-open, got the same error.
Attempt to force quit when it asks to close it in a msg box.
When in a reproduction I just noticed there is a FrFx.exe in Processes, terminated it, allows me to load 1 FF window, I try to open a second. terminates FF.
(In reply to comment #5) > When in a reproduction I just noticed there is a FrFx.exe in Processes, > terminated it, allows me to load 1 FF window, I try to open a second. terminates FF. > Ignore the mesage quoted above. I clicked the one over firefox.exe. when I clicked firefox.exe, fixed problem. still, it should not leave a running process

This was against an old version. More recent installers should detect if firefox is running and offer to close it. If you are still having this problem with a recent build please comment or reopen the bug.
