Since this is 1.0.4, try a nightly release available at http://www.mozilla.org/developer and report back if it was unsuccessful. <- Severity: CRITICAL <- Keyword: crash

Comment 0 says "Firfox 1.0.4 hangs " so please do not add the crash keyword without confirmation the reporter means crash (from the summary) rather than hang (from the comments). Also why are you verifying this bug invalid? While it maybe lacking in details there is enough to have some idea where the problem occurs please only verify bugs where the resolution is clearly correct. Just because this isn't a trunk build such an issue may be significant for future branch builds. IMHO this bug should be closed WFM. However someone should test with the current aviary 1.0.x branch build as the reporter and then comment WFM when closing WFM. You should only close WFM when you have tested and it has been confirmed WFM on the same platform as the reporter. Do not abuse the invalid resolution to close reports without testing the same problem as the reporter. richard@draytonanalytics.com - is this problem still occuring? Your build ID shows you are using firefox 1.0.4, can you explain how this is possible when you say the installer hangs when you try and install it? (are you reporting this bug on a different computer?)
Hi the nightly build had got around this problem for me, unsure why. Installation went through successfully. I am now using 1.0.5 without a problem Yes I was reporting the bug from different computer Thanks
