I am convinced spellcheck was drawn up in some foreign land, probably India. It has so many errors
that I KNOW are errors- so I started keeping a list. Atlantean becomes Atlante an (??). Folic is frolic,
trine is triune, cafe is chafe, declawing is declaring. It has no concept of the possessive; public's is
publics, anybody's is anybodys. It has no word for hematoma or demonize. Willy becomes, strangely,
wilily.
Ah ha, but Mahabarata is correctly corrected to Mahabharata. So, I would guess whoever drew it up is in
Bangalore. I hope you get a native English speaker to do the spellcheck dictionary.

It seems Mozilla uses the OpenOffice.org dictionary (
http://lingucomponent.openoffice.org/ ), see Core bug 240600.

dictionaries are external to mozilla, so need to be addressed with that service.
