User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050524 Fedora/1.0.4-4 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050524 Fedora/1.0.4-4 Firefox/1.0.4 The header and footer appear at the extreme ends of the page, regardless of the margin size. This means that, on all operating systems (MacOS X, Windows, Linux), the header and footer will not print, because it is outside fo the print range. The header and footer should be positioned at the lowest extreme of the top margin, and the highest extreme of the top margin, as one would normally expect with maybe a line or two of spacing). The print preview shows this bug as well. There is no work around for this bug, the print code must be modified. Reproducible: Always

This is probably a dupe of bug 130075.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060123 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Windows XP SP2 This is probably a dupe of bug 130075, just applied directly to Firefox instead of Core. Depending on why you are printing, like for a business or court proceding, the appearance of the printed material can be extremely important. Without having control over the placement of the browsers' header and footer, you lose the ability to completely manipulate the printed materials appearance. Procedures :: 1) File->Print Preview... 2) Notice Header and Footer from browser 3) Close print preview 4) File->Page Setup... 5) Adjust top and bottom margin 6) Select apply/ok 7) File->Print Preview... Results :: Header nor Footer applied by the browser move. Expected Results :: Header and Footer applied by the browser to by adjusted by the selected margins. Reproducible: Always

No reply, INCO. Please reopen if you are seeing this in Firefox 3.5.2 or later in Firefox safe mode and a new profile with the latest plugins. http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles
