i have some extensions for thunderbird installed which are not enabled. whenever
thunderbird checks for updates and i update a disabled extension it will get
enabled automatically.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install any (outdated) extension
2. disable the extension
3. check for updates and install the updated version
4. restart thunderbird
Actual Results:
the updated extension, which was previously disabled is now enabled

Expected Results:
check the status of the extension and keep it after the update
This behavior is also present in Firefox 1.0.5, windows xp

*** Bug 309483 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
I reported this bug on the forum (Jul Tue 19th 2005):
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=294333
And it was with Firefox 1.0.4 on Windows 2000 SP4.

Now I'm using Firefox 1.5 Beta 2 and waiting with an extension disabled to see
what will happen when it will be updated! (I hope soon...)
Then I will post here the result.
I could not check with Beta 2, but in RC1 the bug seems to have been solved!
