It seems that after the checkin for bug 292971 when you go back/forward with
bfcache enabled:

 * The stop button is enabled and then quickly disabled (because this is
opertion is completed very quickly)
 * The progress bar in the statusbar appears and disappears very quickly,
without really showing any progress indications (I've seen it either appear
full, or empty).
 * The mouse cursor seems to change to the arrow+hourglass and then back to
normal pretty quickly. (You will barely notice this, unless you have a good eye)

The above symptons do not appear in build:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050615
Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005061506

But appear in build:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050616
Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005061606

I'm leaving this bug in the UNCONFIRMED state becuase I'd like to know whether
this is behaviour is intended or a regression.
Also, it was really nice without all this, it really gave you a feeling the the
page just instantly appears, without all the progressbar/stop button/mouse curos
chaging.
<bz> Caleb: looks invalid to me -- that's expected behavior given that the load
is now properly async
