User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050620 Camino/0.9a1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050620 Camino/0.9a1
Camino should be able to save different favicons for different folders in the
same domain.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Bookmark Mike Pinkerton's blog (http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/pinkerton/)
and Dave Hyatt's blog (http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/hyatt/)
2. Navigate to Pinkerton's blog. Both blog bookmarks pick up default
Mozillazine favicon.
3. Navigate to Hyatt's blog. Both blog bookmarks pick up "Surfin' Safari" favicon
Expected Results:
Both blogs' bookmarks should pick up the default Mozillazine favicon if you have
not visited both; once you visit Hyatt's blog, his blog's bookmark should have
"Surfin' Safari" favicon and other Mozillazine.org bookmarks should retain
defaul Mozillazine favicon.
Indeed. Targeting at 1.2 for now.
Can you check this again in a build from 7 Aug or later? I think Simon's
bookmark checkins on the 6th might have fixed this--I can't recall having seen
it in the past two days.

I can still get it to trigger sometimes, but it's a lot rarer and only seems to
happen on the first try with a given combination (if at all).

I see it too. It's a race between the loading of the default /favicon.ico, and a
custom <link> favicon.

Can no longer test because hyatt's blog has changed. If I teste this using
http://www.derailer.org/temp/favicontest.html
and
http://www.derailer.org
then it works OK (modulo bug 299270).
