After 1.5.17 -> 1.5.18 upgrade I cannot build any more the suite. The Perl crashes with signal 11 (segmentation fault) while parsing script make-jars.pl I've seen it on two different Windows ME machines. It probably happens with more Windows versions. A similar problem building a CAB file with the same new Cygwin versionwas reported on the Cygwin mailing list http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2005-07/ (Thread title: "Freeze in perl script after cygwin upgrade 1.5.17 -> 1.5.18") while building OpenOffice. It is probably a Cygwin, not Mozilla, fault but I believe more people may hit it, not only with the suite as it makes it impossible to build any jar file. Therefore I file this bug as a warning.

It's definitely a cygwin bug and it has been fixed. http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2005-07/msg01364.html
