Steps to reproduce:

1) Download l10n nightly from URL
2) Try to launch

English nightlies works OK, my own builds works ok.

This was first noticed by Cedric on 03.07.2005 and was confirmed on lastest
nightlies.

I tried firefox-1.0+.nl.win32.zip 26-Jun-2005 23:11,
also firefox-1.0+.fr.win32.zip	05-Jul-2005 02:59,
firefox-1.0+.it.win32.zip	05-Jul-2005 03:04,
firefox-1.0+.pl.win32.zip	05-Jul-2005 03:07,
and they worked (although I had to start a new profile for one of them). 
it's Linux only (as I mentioned in OS property of this bug).

Do these work now that bug 299449 has been fixed?
