User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) Build Identifier: When making remote calendars everybody can modify or even delete the whole calendar. An option the aloow owner/guest privileges (e.g. with pasword protection) seems a good idea. I that case someone can harmlessly display somebody elses calendar without messing up the contents. 5based on Sunbird 0.2) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. It's no problem, it's a configuration suggestion 2. 3.

Why is this being reopened? It was a verified duplicate, so please state a good reason why it's not.
Marking as duplicate again. Please don't mess with resolved bugs (especially not with verified bugs), unless you have a *very good reason* to do so. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 243919 ***

To my (maybe limited) knowledge of English this means that the bug 243919 still had to be confirmed for being "real". That's why I reopened it. Can you confirm that the "bug" is real? Can you confirm that it will resolved? As for the suggestions of the original bug I'd like to add that ther should be a possibility to have calenders owners. I've been working (and am still working) with Lotus Organizer97, It's great (greater than Outlook, especially the PLANNER) and allows to make your personal calendar available for others to see, but they don't have write rights unless they know tha pasword for changing things in your calendar. It is actuyally a calendar on a shared directory, some people know the pasword to be able to "display" it, others know the pasword with "read-write" rights. Sorry if i messed up. My only whish is to be able to help calender evolve to at least the possibilties of lotus organizer97 Thanks
