User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 My Tapestry based application displays generated PDF's or JPEG's by sending back an HTTP response with the mime type set to "application/pdf" or "image/jpeg". This works on the Windows version of Firefox but not on the Mac. Instead, I get the popup asking what application to associate with the "pdf.do" file type or "image.do" filetype. In the Tapestry application, ".do" refers to the Tapestry service that provides the bytes. Given that different services provide different output, I can not simply associate the ".do" file type with an application. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: On the server side, in response to a url of the form "/pdf.do", set the content type to "application/pdf" and send back a PDF. Actual Results: The "Opening pdf.do" dialog pops up. Expected Results: Displayed the PDF.
Are these all dupes of each other? Or perhaps related to another meta-bug?
