300019 - Slow; especially window management: Takes 1.5 seconds to open a mail

When I double-click on a mail in the main list, it takes over 1.5 seconds until 
the mail appears (in its own new window). Even if I open a mail, then close the 
window, then hit enter again, it still takes almost 1 second to re-open it.
It looks like a graphics issue, because I can watch the window being painted: 
The general window frame appears first, then the toolbar, then the panel with 
the mail information (subject, date, etc.), and finally the actual mail content.

Reproducible: Always




I'm using a new profile, with no extensions.
Hardware: Athlon XP 2600+; 512 MB RAM; ATI Radeon 9200 SE (128 MB RAM, AGP 8X, 
original ATI driver).
Software: No other tasks running (except explorer ;-)
