Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install deep park latest trunk 2. answer No at the question of "Do you want to make Deep Park your default browser" 3. Actual Results: Default browser in start menu is Deep Park Expected Results: Default browser in start menu should be the default browser...

The one in the start menu (installed by the installer, which seems to have overwritten the Firefox entry) is not the default browser. A default browser is the one that will open when you click a *.html file
Ok, I was wrong: predefined browser, instead of default browser.

Is this still a valid problem? And why would you want to keep using 1.0.4 reguarly if you downloaded a nightly?
Because it's just a nightly. And if it doesn't work, I can still use my another Firefox 1.0.4, for "emergency". Think if I've "uninstalled" Internet Explorer or if I use Linux (no other browser), it's not a bad idea.

The registry entry format for defining the start menu entry is the executable name so with firefox it is firefox.exe. This doesn't allow for multiple startmenu entries for the same app installed in different locations. I'm not sure how to best solve this while keeping to the standard naming convention.

Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!
