Details

When smooth scrolling is enabled, it stops working once caret navigation is activated. You can verify this by - loading a webpage that's longer than the browser window, - setting general.smoothScrool to true, - press PageUp/PageDown, - activate caret browsing by pressing F7, - press PageUp/PageDown again. Observe that the second page scroll is performed instantly instead of smoothly.
