User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4

If you have to uninstall Firefox, the uninstall routines do not correctly
restore IE. two problems (1) After the Firefox uninstall, IE loads the following
as the Home: http://-url%20"ftp://Bedrock@ftp.willbros.com/"
The Preferences Home in the System for IE is ftp://Bedrock@ftp.willbros.com/
Also after uninstalling foxfire the emails with a URL pointer, executing the
pointer actually calls the 'open file' window instead of directly opening IE and
sending you to the pointer URL.
Sounds like both are attributable to either an altered ini file or renaming one
of IE key fetch subroutines with one that Foxfire needs. Our IT department can't
find the file altered by Firefx during install the messes up IE.
Sounds like UNinstall is missing a cleanup and restore feature. Unfortunately no
one in IE can figure out how to restore IE without doing a complete system
restore to a time before Foxfire was installed. NO GOOD. IF you know how to
restore or which file(s) to delete we would dearly like to know.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install Firefox
2.UNinstall Firefox
3.Run IE
Actual Results:
IE loads the following as the Home: http://-url%20"ftp://Bedrock@ftp.willbros.com/"
also - IE does not open when using an email pointer to a URL instead it call a
open file window.
Expected Results:
IE should not be altered when loading Foxfire (they should co-exist)and when
foxfire in uninstalled, IE should run normally.
