Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b3) Gecko/20050708
Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005070823

It seems that the URL bar does not respond to Enter or Ctrl+Enter (or any such
combinations).

Could this be a fallout from bug 300008 ?

One more thing, it seems that selecting a URL from the auto-complete popup does
not work either.

Can make move this to all. It doesn't work on a 10 minutes old homemade build
under MacOS-X Tiger.

Moving hardware -> All, as I can reproduce it on my mac.

I built it using a source code up-to-date at 08:00 pm, mozilla.org time.

Argh :(
Hardware: PC → All
And drag n' drop files from explorer doesn't work

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b3)
Gecko/20050709 Firefox/1.0+
The possibility to install extensions by dragging them into the browser window
is broken. Not in my default profile but in test profiles with few extensions.
Worked in 2005070822, broken in 2005070902.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b3) Gecko/20050709
Firefox/1.0+ build ID: 2005070900

Another confimation here. URL/Location bar dosen't respond either "Enter" and
click the "Go" button. But its worked ok in Firefox Build ID: 2005070818
this may not be the best solution, but it is a temporary solution. unless bug
300008 is really important (i dont have access to it), i say back it out, ship
1.1a2, and then find a way to make it work without immobilizing the whole thing.
when removing the patch for bug 298807 (nsIBookmarksService::ResolveKeyword can
make a better use of strings) the problem vanishes.

build a working ff after:
cvs update -j1.61 -j1.60
mozilla/browser/components/bookmarks/src/nsBookmarksService.cpp
cvs update -j1.22 -j1.21
mozilla/browser/components/bookmarks/public/nsIBookmarksService.idl

(removing the patch for bug 300008 did not solve the problem)

can someone please confirm this?

Not working for me in Linux either...

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b3) Gecko/20050709 Firefox/1.0+
Im noticing draging a link to a tab causes DP to crash. I asume it has to do
with this bug/related?

Why did you think bug 300008's patch caused this bug?

It was in the regression range and was mentioned in comment 0, so some people
assumed it was the cause.

Is this bug resolved yet?

I just grabbed a new build of Deer Park - this one:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.8b3) Gecko/20050709
Firefox/1.0+

And all of the functionality works again :)
