The views for 0.3a1 don't need to be perfect, but the better they are, the more 
hours people might be willing to spend using/testing it.

Apologies in advance for dealing with so many issues in one bug.  I can split
this up by view if you prefer, but many of the changes are the same across
views.

This patch:
-Adds the ability to display events as dots in month/multiweek views when the
box fills up
-Makes the day/week views expand and contract when events are outside the
display range
-Fixes the display of events spanning midnight
-Updates css to make selection criteria override calendar/category colors.
