Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: I wonder why Search Plugins reside in common application folder, whereas in many cases it is typically user data (such as bookmarks, cookies, extensions, etc.). It isn't very convenient both for single-user and multi-user enviroments, since: 1) all users have to use shared plugins; 2) users may not be granted access to Firefox program folder; 3) every time new Firefox build is installed to separate folder needs to copy the searchplugins folder. It would be better to divide search plugins into users' custom plugins, which would reside in theirs profiles, and shared (preinstalled or enterprise-level) plugins, which would be stored in the browser directory or inside %ALLUSERSPROFILE%. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
